I Saw You In the Mountain / 2016

Wood, fabric, image transfer

Secluded indoor corner is a semi-private architectural space. It serves as a dialectic of inside and outside. Dusty little corners are easily forgotten but they are ideal for dreamers who withdraw into themselves. Its dual quality evokes elements of solitude. In September 2015, I was at a residency in the mountains of Vermont. We had meditation sessions everyday with a mountain pose thinking of nothing but breathing.
Welcome to sit crossed-legs without shoes.
