TAP CHAN

Complex / 2022

Complex was built with beeswax with square-shaped cells in open lattice cast from molds similar to those used in Brutalist architecture, which are produced for use in marginal spaces such as walkways, corridors and staircase landings. Mimicking the cells of a beehive, the sculpture provokes thoughts about the liminal space of a habitable area, a residential building and a home.
